Blue Mushroom

I'm always looking for something to make with my cyanotype fabric bits. When I saw this mushroom pattern by the magical Ann Wood, I knew it was just the thing. I had SO much fun with the hand stitching. The act of moving the needle and thread through the fabric was relaxing and just what I needed. I used my cyanotype fabric and some scraps from an old cloth shoe organizer that used to hang on the back of a closet door. There’s cardboard and wire, masking tape and stuffing in there. I just love it! Such a cutie pie! I walked all over the woods taking photos of it! I think I'm going to get started on a few more and will share when they are done. More with the cyanotype fabric. I've been wanting to try bleach painting so maybe some with that fabric also. I'm grateful for artists and makers like Ann who share their wonderful patterns with us.
